         ​Our story begins with a young woman who grew up in a small Siberian village with less than a hundred residents, far from the world of fashion. When Alena Loyko first heard about the fashion design profession at the age of six, it became her lifelong passion. Alena started to sew clothes from the rugs found in the attic.
​        She was fully committed to her goal and for many years she studied apparel manufacturing and fashion design. At the age of sixteen, she started to win her first designer contests and for several years she won more than ten national and international awards including competitions in Paris, Beijing, Budapest, and Vienna. She has come a long way to create LOYKO.
       Alena noticed that mature women like her mother have difficulty finding clothes that look stylish, suit well to their body and are comfortable at the same time. This is the design challenge that captivated her, to create modern clothes, well-styled, to suit modern women.​

Brand concept creation

     Alena met her husband Aleksandr, an engineer and researcher. Together they decided to found a brand to create clothes for women of all ages and moved to the United States to make their dream come true.
      The unusual tandem of creativity and technology was beneficial for the development of the LOYKO signature style. They combined new proprietary methods of fabric treatment, special oversize cut, and multi-layer designs to create clothes that will help women with a wide variety of figures admire themselves.  
Brand aesthetic uses broken lines and asymmetric silhouettes, graceful flowing, textured fabrics, and muted colors to help women express their rich life experiences. 
​     To focus on the uniqueness of a woman, LOYKO creates its own fabric designs that we print on natural and tactile base materials. They create clothing based on unusual shapes and textures that are rarely seen off the catwalk while maintaining convenience and comfort for everyday life.

SUSTAINABILITY

Growing up close to nature encouraged Alena and Aleksandr to ensure that their clothes are in consonance with the environment. LOYKO creates only with sustainable natural fabrics and uses eco-friendly fabric printing technologies without releasing pollutants into water. LOYKO creates high-quality apparel that last long and are modern classics in the wardrobe. LOYKO  applies responsible production practices with the maximum fabric utilization rate, energy-efficient equipment, and light sources. All manufacturing waste is recycled.
We create our clothes with a happy and beautiful woman in mind and believe that every woman deserves to admire herself.
